Hi everyone,

A few days ago, my friend and fellow magician, Steven Brundage, was pulled over by cops for doing 42 in a 30 MPH. He used his insane Rubik’s Cube magic–seriously, the best I’ve ever seen–to get out of paying for the ticket. This video has been gaining a lot of attention and has been featured on sites around the world. Please watch and share so that he is able to fulfill a longtime dream of performing on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Go, Steven!

Magic with @Hernanes

Just spent an unforgettable afternoon with #Hernanes, a world class magician from Brazil whose preferred object of manipulation is a soccer ball…he is getting better with cards, too 🙂

Two of Spain’s greatest magicians, Dani DaOrtiz and Woody Aragón, are coming to Rochester!  Each will lecture for an hour on their award-winning magic routines.  The lecture will be held at Transfiguration Lutheran Church located at 3760 Culver Road on April 23rd at 7:30pm (doors open at 7:00pm).  Don’t miss it!  The cost is $20.  Check out this quick performance of Open Triumph by Dani DaOrtiz:

Shawn Farquhar

I had the privilege of meeting a truly talented and inspiring magician named Shawn Farquhar earlier this year at a magic convention  in Batavia, NY.  He is the recipient of many internationally-acclaimed awards in the world of magic, including the highest award in magic, the Grand Prix World Champion of Magic in 2009! He was very generous with his time over those couple of days as he made himself available to answer my questions, share some valuable advice, teach me a few great tricks, and to simply hang out. It was an experience that I will always cherish. I want to publicly thank my friend, Mike Dedee, for inviting me to attend the convention and for introducing me to Shawn.  Check out this video of Shawn performing a mind-blowing trick on Penn and Teller Fool Us.
